About
Thanks for visiting our site. You might be wondering why in the world anyone would get a limo and paint it orange. The best answer we can come up with is why not. You have to have fun in life and this will bring us some. Hopefully it brings you some too.
The story goes back a few years. We don’t really know how it got started but a few different ideas were kicked around, should we get a hearse, a limo, a short bus, a shuttle bus, heck why not even a full sized bus? These were all just thrown around as ideas and jokes no one really sure how serious anyone else really was. On Sunday afternoon in June (the day the Cavaliers were eliminated from the play-off by the Celtics) the outlook was bleak for Cleveland sports so it was time to turn the page to the next up-coming season, FOOTBALL. This brought up all of those great ideas and we turned our attention back to a tailgating vehicle. Things happened very quickly in the next few days and we became the proud owners of a 1989 Lincoln Town Car stretched to 27 feet long. What a beauty!
Now we had to figure out how to get this thing home (that is a whole story in itself for another time), how we were going to get it insured, licensed, where we can keep the beast. All the normal things that most people would try to figure out before paying for it. Well after a few trials (almost literally as well as figuratively) and tribulations we got her in working order and could drive her around the block and see what we really had in this 17 year old trophy. After some discussion of how we should go about getting her painted we finally decided on a real paint job. The paint shop guys were affectionately calling her the pumpkin. That ride home from the paint shop was one of our proudest moments. like holding your infant child for the first time. The looks from passer-byes were worth everything we had put into the thing so far. People had their cell phone cameras out and were snapping away. One person even flagged us down and asked when she could get her husband a ride (that information will be available soon). A family trip to the local ice cream shop prompted more questions, stares and pictures.
So there you have it. We are now ready for the 2008 Cleveland Browns football season. If you sea us on the road let us know. If you want to go for a ride drop us a line. If you are a Steelers fan I’m sorry, if you are a Bengals fan I’m really sorry, if you are a Ravens fan I’m surprised you are even on the internet.
